World's oldest steamship on the Thames

The SS Robin has returned to the city of her birth and is in the Royal Docks being fitted out as a museum. This 144ft costal steamer was built in 1890 by the Thames Ironworks and Shipbuilding Company and claims to be the world's oldest steam ship. Refitting  is expected to be carried out in time for the Olympics, when she will be parked by the new cable car rising next to the Dome.
