Vikings in St Katharine Docks


Vikings arrive at St Katharine Docks to celebrate 1000 years since the invasion of Sweyn Forkbeard, the first Danish king of England, crowned in Christmas Day 10013, and father of Cnut, who was among the invading fleet. The publicity stunt heralds the new big Viking show at the British Museum on March 6 to June 22, 2014.
